My first experience with wolves came in the spring of 2001 at a sanctuary in southern California and was a life changing event. I began to support wolf habitats and be an activist to
protect these magnificent part of our heritage and important part of the circle of life
In September 2002 I drove some 200 miles out of my way to find Wolfsong Ranch in souther New Mexico. They are located at the
base of the Chiracahua Apache Mountains and the hills where Geronimo camped and the peace and tranquility I felt was unbelievable. Not to mention playing flute for the wolves and
watching them relax and some even go to sleep while I played flute.
However, in 2005 while touring I met another wonderful and endearing couple from Indiana who are doing the same thing. The difference here from all my experiences is that the wolves here get lots of attention, plenty of volunteer care and truly made me feel at home and part of their family. I wuickly fell in love with these guys
and they have made this my second home. People are encouraged to spend time with the wolves and get lots of education on their needs and the wolf's way of life and family ranking and family structure.
Terry and Kathy Baudendistel basically care for well over 30 animals by themselves and desperately need your
financial help. The wolves here are treated with the utmost respect and get lots of fresh deer meat so they can feel like they are still out in the wild.
I am asking for your help. They depend solely on the donations and love from people like you to feed, shelter, and provide veterinary help to these precious gifts.
Click on the link below for Wolf Creek Habitat and you will be taken to Terry and Kathy's main page. You will find a page for adoption, their history and gifts that you can purchase as well.
PLEASE!!! Give whatever you can to help. All they ask is $15, $30 or whatever you can afford. You can even adopt one or more of the wolves and get monthly updates on your brother or sister.
I can assure you that ALL the money they receive for these animals goes to THEM.
